Meet the Artist

Welcome to my world of rich color and texture! My name is
Meg, I’m a mixed media artist based in Yonkers, NY. My art reflects the
importance of rest for black women. Growing up in a single-family household, I experienced
second hand how important stillness is for women. I aim to create art that can replenish
rest in homes of black women. I personally find escape in nature, so a lot of
the patterns I use in my pieces are reflective of that.
